The Aircooled Hut New Super is a long block engine from Automotive Remains LLC, built for air-cooled Volkswagen applications.
This Aircooled Hut Super Stock 1600cc twin-port long block comes fully assembled, for you to fit your own ancillaries (or we can do this for an extra charge). It’s dynamically balanced, with bearing clearances checked and set, piston rings gapped, flywheel end play set, and a leak-down and compression test performed before it ships. It’s fitted with a mild performance camshaft, twin-port cylinder heads, an 8-dowel forged counterweighted crankshaft, a lightened 8-dowel flywheel, a forged gland nut, VW or I-beam conrods, fully refurbished VW rockers, bolt-on rocker covers, and steel pushrods.
