The 1200cc/1500/ 1600cc Single Port is a long block engine from Automotive Remains LLC, built for air-cooled Volkswagen applications.

This is a refurbished single-port long block rebuild service (1200cc, 1500cc, or 1600cc stock), built from your core engine. A £700 core deposit is added at checkout and refunded on receipt of a suitable core. The service includes align-boring and cleaning the case, refurbished cylinder heads, a genuine VW crankshaft reground as required and dynamically balanced, checked forged conrods with new bushes as required, new pistons and rings, new barrels, new steel pushrod tubes, new main/big-end/camshaft bearings, a new or refurbished 200mm 12V flywheel, a new gasket set, and a refurbished rocker set. An optional turnkey build (single or twin 34 carb) adds new tinware, an alternator kit with stand, fan kit, mechanical fuel pump, fuel lines, distributor, leads, coil, plugs, and an Empi exhaust with J-tubes.
