The 1915cc Long Block is a long block engine from Automotive Remains LLC, built for air-cooled Volkswagen applications.

This 1915cc long block is built entirely from brand-new parts (no exchange required), with an option to build it as a turnkey engine. It’s based on an Autolinea magnesium crankcase (Super Race case available for cranks over 82mm), full-flowed with a remote twist-on oil filter, with an 8mm chromoly head stud kit, a forged counterweighted 8-dowel crankshaft dynamically balanced with the flywheel, a 200mm 12V lightened 8-dowel flywheel, and a 38mm heavy-duty chromoly gland nut. Standard spec includes chromoly I-beam 5.4 inch VW-journal con rods (H-beam upgrade available) and an Engle or Scat camshaft kit with an aluminum helical gear (steel straight-cut upgrade available). An optional turnkey build (single or twin 34 carb) adds new tinware, an alternator kit with stand, fan kit, mechanical fuel pump, fuel lines, distributor, leads, coil, plugs, and an Empi exhaust with J-tubes.
