1776cc Mild Performance – Long Block Refurbished

The 1776cc Mild Performance Long is a long block engine from Automotive Remains LLC, built for air-cooled Volkswagen applications.

This 1776cc refurbished long block is built on an exchange basis (or for a surcharge) from a genuine VW case, align-bored as required and chemically cleaned. It’s fitted with a stock camshaft (good for torque) with the option to upgrade to an Engle W-100/Scat C25 (ideal for buses) or Engle W-110/Scat C35 (better for Beetle/Ghia) camshaft. The crankshaft is reground as required, and the crankshaft, flywheel, pressure plate, and pulley are dynamically balanced. Includes new pistons and rings, new barrels, new pushrod tubes, new main/big-end/camshaft bearings, a new or refurbished 200mm 12V flywheel, a new gasket set, checked forged conrods with new bushes as required, and refurbished or new cylinder heads (crack tested).
